Loop It Up Savannah

Join us for the first annual Savannah Urban Agriculture Festival, a fantastic community event that celebrates local agriculture! We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help at the Kids Station, where children will engage in hands-on activities that foster creativity and a love for nature.

About the Kids Station: The Kids Station will be a vibrant space where young attendees can explore their creativity through fun, nature-inspired projects, including:

• Design Your Own Nature Treasure Boxes: Kids will transform egg cartons and jars into unique treasure boxes.
• Seed Saving: Children will learn about harvesting dried marigold seeds and create their own seed packets.
• Nature Crowns and Wands: Using natural materials, kids will craft whimsical crowns and wands.
• Seed Mandalas/Nature Portraits: Using air-dry clay and found objects, participants will create beautiful art pieces.

Volunteer Roles:

• Assist with setting up and dismantling the Kids Station
• Guide children through the various activities
• Provide support to ensure a smooth experience
• Engage with kids and families to promote a love for nature and urban agriculture
